Privatisations

Offrez à vos invités une expérience inédite dans un temple de l’art.

Offer your guests a unique experience in a temple of art.

The privatisation of the spaces includes a free visit to the rooms of the current temporary exhibition and the rooms of the permanent collections

Overview

Decorated at its façade by the famous monument by the sculptor Edmé Bouchardon, the Fountain of the Four Seasons, the building that houses the Foundation today offers some 4,250 m² of floor space in the heart of Paris’ 7th arrondissement. In addition to the rooms devoted to the most important collection of works by Maillol, there are also spaces for wide ranging temporary exhibitions devoted to the art of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Its reception capacity and diversity of spaces allow the possibility of hosting a wide variety of events: dinner, breakfast, cocktail party, seminar, product launch, fashion show, etc.

Cocktail and Dinner Parties

Organise your cocktail parties and dinners at the Café des Frères Prévert or in the museum’s inner courtyard, which can be arranged according to your requirements.

The Frères Prévert Café

  • Square meters: 60 m2
  • Capacity :30 people for dinner,, 70 people for cocktails

The Frères Prévert Café is an emblematic space in the museum. In 1951, the brothers Jacques and Pierre Prévert opened a cabaret on the ground floor of what is now the Maillol Museum: the Quatres-Saisons fountain. The artists’ dressing rooms and the kitchen were located in the vaulted cellars that today house the Frères Prévert Café.
During the installation of the museum in the 1990s, Dina Vierny, with the help of architect Pierre Devinoy, restored the basements to their original size to accommodate the restaurant and in 2015 interior designer Didier Benderli redesigned the Café to give it an elegant and welcoming atmosphere.

The Aristide Maillol rooms

  • Location: 2nd floor
  • Number of rooms: 5
  • Square meters: 250 m2
  • Capacity: 50 people

The permanent collection is divided into several rooms: the first paintings and woodcarvings (1880-1900); the tapestry (1895-1900); the bronze, terracotta and plaster statuettes; the emblematic life-size sculptures; the cabinet of small drawings; and finally, a double space of works from the 1930-1940s.

The Courtyard

  • Square meters: 120 m2
  • Capacity: 250 people

Entirely paved, the museum’s inner courtyard offers a beautiful space of 120m2, in a unique and tranquil setting. It can be fitted out with reception facilities (tents, marquees), and can accommodate up to 250 people.
