Useful information

The Museum is open every day from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and until 10:00 p.m. every Wednesday during exhibitions.

You should allow an average of two hours for the non-guided visit of the permanent and temporary exhibitions - depending on how long you wish to spend looking.
Regarding the temporary exhibition, Hyperréalisme.Ceci n’est pas un corps, the estimated time to visit is 1hr - 1hr30.

No. However, given the circumstances, it is highly recommended to wear one.

Yes, you can purchase tickets at the Museum’s front desk (subject to availability).
The ticket office is open every day from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and until 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Upon presentation of proof, the following categories are entitled to receive a discount :

 

  • Children from 6 to 18 years old
  • Job seekers
  • Persons with disabilities
  • Students
  • 19-25 year olds

 

 

Upon presentation of proof, the following categories are entitled to free admission :

 

  • Children under 6 years old
  • ICOM card holders,
  • Journalists and guide-lecturers 
  • Persons accompanying persons with disabilities.

The Maillol Museum offers a special rate for families: admission is €50 (for two adults and two paying children aged 6 to 18 + €12 per additional child).

No, the ticket is combined for both the visit of the permanent collection and the temporary exhibition.

Yes, a free checkroom is available at the entrance of the museum.
Lockers and hangers are available. Cabin luggages are allowed.
Large suitcases and other bulky items will not be accepted.

Yes, the shop can be accessed without passing through the rest of the museum.

No, pets are allowed in the Museum.

Yes , the Café des frères Prévert. is located at -1 floor. It is currently closed butest-il possible will re-open soon.

No, the restaurant does not take reservations.

Yes, if you are interested in privatizing the Museum please go to the section « Privatization ».

Pictures are allowed only without flash.

The nearest métro stations are :

The bus lines serving the museum are 63, 68, 69, 83, 84, 94, 95.


There is also a vélib (self-service bike) station nearby, opposite 28 boulevard Raspail.

Yes, the museum is entirely accessible to wheelchair users.
The entrance is at 59 rue de Grenelle, green door, by ringing the intercom «Gardien sécurité».Wheelchairs are available on request at the museum ticket office (in exchange for a valid identity document).
An elevator provides access to the upper floors.

No, due to access restrictions strollers must be left in the checkroom. Strollers are not allowed within the exhibition areas. You will need to bring a baby carrier if necessary.

Yes. Please visit the « Online ticketing » section of our website

Yes. A pre-sale ticket will allow you a skip-the-line access to the Museum.

If you have any problems purchasing tickets online or printing them, please contact us by email at contact@museemaillol.com, stating your name, email address and order number.

First of all, check that the email is not in your spam or junk mail folder. Otherwise, go to the « My orders » section of your personal account to review your purchase history

Yes, date and time can be changed by logging into your personal account and clicking on the corresponding option.

No. Tickets are not refundable.

No. In order to manage the flow of visitors, it is important to keep to the time slot chosen when you booked.

No. Tickets must be printed at home. They cannot be picked up on the day of the visit and you cannot enter the museum without these printed tickets. The printout of the order confirmation cannot be used as an admission ticket under any circumstances. You can also present your ticket on your smartphone. The hostesses will be able to scan them.
